Where did you grow up?
Atlanta, GA

Joint Concentration in Theatre, Dance & Media and Studies of Women, Gender & Sexuality
What did you do this summer?
Went to South Africa with Collegium, then worked as an intern in the Artistic Office of the American Repertory Theater
Who is your favorite musician?
Lorde
Go to dance move?
The Classic Step Touch
Why do you love chorus?
It gives me an opportunity to create something beautiful with a group of similarly-minded people, and it's so spontaneous. Singing can happen anywhere, you don't have to lug around an instrument to create something lovely.
If you could be a kitchen appliance, what kitchen appliance would you be?
Salad spinner. Always lit.
What is your favorite musical experience that you have ever had?
I once experienced a sound sculpture of Tallis' Spem in Alium, which is a 40-part motet. There were 40 different speakers set up in a circle, each playing a different part. You could walk around and listen to each part individually, or sit in the center and let the sound wash over you. It was transcendental.
What is your favorite emoji (or the emoji that describes you best)?
🙃
so many possible meanings
What’s your favorite song that you have ever sung in choir?
How to Go On is high up there, along with the Faure requiem
What are you most excited for this year? (Collegium-related or otherwise)
FACULTY CLUB GIGS!!!
