Ingrid Goetz
Class of 2019
Alto 2
Where are you from?
Saint Paul, Minnesota
Alright, real question time, and we'll start easy: favorite color?
Lots of blues are very nice.
Top three favorite movies?
Serenity, The Young Victoria (I love you Albert), and the whole LotR series because Tolkein.
Weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
I am about the opposite of a picky eater, so I'm not sure what would qualify. Maybe turkey liver and heart at Thanksgiving? If anyone wants to introduce me to new crazy foods, I'm totally down.
QUICK: Dogs or cats?
Dogs.
You're in an enormous mall and you have five minutes to spend $1000. WHAT DO YOU DO?
Find my mom. She has impeccable taste (and morals).
QUICK: Chocolate or vanilla?
Vanilla's where it's at.
You're going on a date tonight with the person of your choice, dead or alive, fictional or real. Who do you pick and why?
Either Seamus Heaney--poetry and translations of Beowulf, what more could I want?-- or Faramir because he is pretty much perfect.
One place in the world that I really want to visit is:
Oh wow this is a hard question. Right now Scotland and Singapore come to mind, but there are myriad cultures and experiences that I would love to learn more about and from.
QUICK: Nicki or Bey?
Bey.
The song that you will always be caught dancing ridiculously to while alone in your room:
Pretty much any song by Robyn.
Finally, what is something that you're very much looking forward to this year, Collegium-related or otherwise?
I'm looking forward to immersing myself in a completely new culture--being an adult, studying at Harvard, singing--it's just a wonderful opportunity to establish myself and watch lots of Netflix, all while being exposed to new ideas and experiences.
