The Harvard Glee Club and the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum present
This spring concert features the Harvard Glee Club and Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum present performing choral gems spanning six centuries. Collegium will be performing the East Coast premiere of To the Evening Star, by Abbie Betinis and Claude Debussy’s a cappella masterwork, Trois Chansons de Charles d’Orléans, alongside works by Rachmaninoff and Harvard College senior Fraser Weist. The Harvard Glee Club will present the world premiere of Missa in incerto tempore (The Davison Mass) for two choirs and two organs, collaborating with Boston’s All Saints’ Choir of Men and Boys and organists Thomas Sheehan and Andrew Sheranian. Come join us in Memorial Church to experience both sensual and beautiful settings of poetry and the comfort and solace in traditional texts, ultimately tied together by their eloquence and the pulchritude of the choral sound.
Friday, April 6th at 8pm in Memorial Church
