In June 2015 the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum will embark on its first tour to South America, where we will explore the rich musical culture of Brazil. We look forward to fostering relationships with our Brazilian choral partners and performing in some of Brazil’s most prestigious arts venues, offering exciting collaborative concerts of our standard seasonal repertoire, Brazilian works, and new student compositions. Over the course of three weeks Collegium will travel to four cities—São Paulo, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, and Rio de Janiero— offering students an unforgettable musical, academic, and cultural immersion experience.
Making this unique educational travel experience accessible to all students is the tour’s first priority. Each singer in Collegium makes a monetary contribution to the Brazil tour. We aim to raise a substantial scholarship fund so that financial need will not prohibit any member of the choir from participating in the experience. To support the students on this journey of a lifetime, simply go to the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum Foundation’s online donation page by clicking the button below. The Collegium is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit choir, and all donations to the Foundation are fully tax deductible. Thank you for your generosity as you help the Collegium embark on this exciting adventure! Obrigado!
