Soprano 1
Where did you grow up?
Baden, Switzerland
What do you study?
(Computational) Linguistics
What did you do this summer?
I helped organise a virtual summer school / conference! Trying to translate everything into an online format and still keeping everyone engaged was a fun challenge.
Go-to dance move?
The Classic Step Touch
Why do you love chorus?
I love making music together with other people. That feeling when all the parts blend together and you create something that transcends any one part or voice is just magical.
If you could be a kitchen appliance, what kitchen appliance would you be?
Probably a pineapple corer/slicer. Complicated and kind of neat, but not actually very useful most of the time.
What is your favorite musical experience you have ever had?
Singing Rheinberger's Abendlied in a random square by a fountain late at night on choir tour in Bordeaux (France).
What’s your favorite song that you have ever sung in choir?
Morten Lauridsen's Sure on this Shining Night
What are you most excited for this year?
Making music together despite everything
